Finally some attention to synapses
Simulations have finally reached the stage where direct attention is given to the generation of specific synapse types.
First results of the synapse formation model (select link to view results) show
that the network generation framework is now able to produce actual
"networks", since synapes with AMPA, NMDA and GABA receptors are
created. Abstract connections can be deduced from the synapses, which
enable simulations with patterns of activity.
